Sizing and Fit
Do Eric Michael shoes run true to size?
Most customers find our shoes run true to size. Fit can vary by style and material, so always check the product description for any style specific notes.
What if I am between sizes?
If you are between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit, especially in closed-toe styles. If you prefer a snug fit and the style is leather, your shoes may relax slightly with wear.
Do you offer half sizes?
Our sizing is primarily EU sizing, which covers a range similar to half sizes in many cases. Use the EU to US chart as a general guide.

Are any styles wide friendly?
Some styles have a roomier fit than others. Email us the style name you are considering and we will recommend the best option.
Will leather stretch over time?
Leather typically softens and relaxes slightly with wear. If your shoes feel a touch snug at first (but not painfully tight), they often become more comfortable after a few wears.
How do I measure my foot at home?
Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. Stand with your heel touching the wall and mark the longest point of your foot. Measure the length in inches or centimeters, then share it with us along with the style you want, and we will help select the best size.

Where are your shoes manufactured?
Eric Michael shoes are made in Northern Italy.
Are all your shoes genuine leather?
Many Eric Michael styles are made with high quality leather. If a style uses suede, textile, or a specialty material, it will be listed on the product page.
How do I care for my shoes?

For most leather styles:

  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear.
  • Use a leather conditioner occasionally to keep leather supple.
  • Avoid soaking or heavy rain, let shoes air dry away from heat.

For suede or nubuck, use a suede brush and protective spray. Test on a small hidden area first.

Are your shoes waterproof?
Most styles are not fully waterproof. Light moisture is usually fine, but we recommend avoiding heavy rain or puddles. For extra protection, use a suitable leather or suede protector spray.

Where do Eric Michael shoes ship from?
We ship from New York State.
Do you ship internationally?

Do you ship to Canada?
At this time, we do not ship to Canada.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. If you do not see it, check your spam or promotions folder, then contact us and we will help.
My tracking says “Delivered” but I do not have it. What should I do?
First, check around your delivery location (front desk, side door, neighbors) and confirm the shipping address on your order. Then email us at hello@ericmichael.com and we will do our best to help.
Returns and Exchanges
Do you accept returns?
Yes. If you are not satisfied, you may return unused merchandise in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt. See our full policy here.
How do I start a return?

Is there a return shipping fee?

What counts as “unused” for returns?
Returned items must be unworn and in original packaging. We recommend trying shoes on indoors on a clean surface to keep soles and uppers in like-new condition.
What if my shoes arrive damaged or defective?
Please contact us within 30 days of receipt and include photos of the issue. We will make it right as quickly as possible.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
